Elton John and his entourage wowed thousands of fans from across Essex and Suffolk. He brought his live stadium set to the Ipswich Town FC ground in Portman Road.
And with a mix of the old classics and newer hits, Elton proved he has still got the power.
But there was no sign of his trademark whacky specs - Elton has had implants to give him 20/20 vision and now sports simple sunglasses.
In an interview yesterday Elton said he still loved touring and playing live and wished more up-and-coming pop groups could do the same.
