Children at Ryedene County Primary School were treated to the trip to Playtopia in Miles Gray Road, Basildon for achieving the highest attendance record.
Now they will be back in competition with other pupils to win the coveted prize of a day out of their choice. Teacher, Sheila Boakes, said: "This is is so effective, there is actually peer pressure to turn up to school now.
"The fact is that if children are absent from school it will affect their learning and this is a fun way to combat that."
