THE £80,000 conservation project to restore Hadleigh Castle to its former glory looked set to finish today Monday.
Work to the landmark building, which is more than 700-years-old, included stabilising and conserving the two towers and restoring the mortar that holds the stones together.
The restoration work, which began in August, was carried out to ensure the castle will be in good condition for the next 30 to 50 years.
