A YOUNG clubber had a lucky escape after she fell asleep while cooking a pizza following a night out.
Firefighters were called to her home in Winter Folly, Laindon, by startled neighbours who were woke by the sound of her smoke detector at around 3am yesterday <SUN>.
The fire crew banged on her door and when she didn't answer they knocked it down with a sledgehammer.
This still didn't wake her, so firefighters made their way upstairs and found the woman, believed to be in her 20s, fast asleep in her bedroom while the pizza was being frazzled in the kitchen.
