THOUSANDS of car enthusiasts poured into Southend seafront making the town's first official cruise for 20 years a smash hit.
Spectacular modified cars, trade stalls, sound-systems, sexy models and fire breathing dancers gave the Golden Mile some extra glamour on Saturday night.
Cruisers from across the country mingled with curious families who had popped down from the High Street after the Christmas lights switch-on.
