Colchester United goalscorer Greg Halford is hoping that the U's can overcome Mansfield Town when they come to Layer Road for the FA Cup first round replay.
The two teams ended the match 1-1 with Halford's header on 25 minutes being cancelled out with a sensational long-range effort from Alex John Baptiste four minutes later.
Now Halford hopes that the U's can replicate their heroics from the first round of the competition last season when they dragged Accrington Stanley back to Layer Road.
He said: "You have to look at it like last season.
"We ground out a draw at Accrington and brought them back to Layer Road and won.
"I hope we can do the same against Mansfield and book ourselves into the next round."
