Road chaos caused by urgent repairs to Pitsea flyover was lifted today as the A13 re-opened for rush hour traffic.
Essex County Council claims the work will be fully completed on schedule by Friday and within the £4.2million budget set aside for the scheme.
Rodney Bass, Essex County Council cabinet member for highways and transportation, said that from 6am today (Tuesday) the remaining repairs would be carried out only at night until the end of the week.
