He who dares wins! That was the advice Del Boy Trotter and Uncle Albert gave staff at a new store when they went along to help officially open it.

Just cushty - Del Boy and Uncle Albert look-a-likes added a lovely jubbly feeling to the opening of Budgen's new store in St John's Road, Clacton, and tried their spiel on customers Joan and Pierra Young. Picture: ROB SAMBROOK (39304-1)

The look-a-likes of the infamous Trotter family from the top comedy show Only Fools and Horses were at the Budgens store in St John's Road, Clacton.

The uncle and nephew double act drove into town in their classy three-wheeler for the occasion.

Dee Patel, owner of the Budgens store, said he had been looking forward to a cushty opening day and no doubt he would be picking up a packet or two of mange tout.

A crowd gathered outside the shop for the event where Tendring councillor Harry Shearing cut the ribbon to declare the shop open.
