Southend High dominated the annual Southend Schools Girls cross-country Championships, staged at Garon Park.
In taking the overall title they won all but one of the five team races.
Only the year seven event, which went to Westcliff's St Bernard's, eluded them.
Southend High also provided two of the individual winners with the other three being spread between St Bernard's, Westcliff High and South East Essex College.
As a result of the competition, the Southend teams to represent the Borough in the Essex Schools' Championships at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, on January 22 next year have been named.
Fastest time of the day over the course was by Southend High's Natasha Bailey, who captured the year 10/11 years race in 8 mins. 03 secs.
Races were contested by 11 schools in all with St Hilda's competing for the first time.
