Tommy Miller has not given up hope of being fit for Ipswich Town's weekend trip to Sunderland.
The Blues midfielder was thought to be a non-starter after injuring his elbow in Saturday's 1-0 success against Leeds United. He suffered a knock early on but x-rays have revealed no lasting damage.
There is no break - just bruising - so he still has a chance of playing at the Stadium of Light on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Fabian Wilnis has emerged as another injury worry. The Dutchman injured his wrist at the weekend and will have a scan to determine the extent of the damage.
