Alan Dilloway is hoping for another clinical performance when his Clacton Town side visit Stowmarket tonight, fresh from their weekend drubbing of Diss.
The Seasiders roared to a 4-2 success thanks to two-goal salvos from Sean Hillier and Keith Hetherington.
That nosed them up to fifth spot in the Ridgeons League premier division and Dilloway knows three more points tonight would turn up the heat on front-runners AFC Sudbury, Bury, Wroxham and Mildenhall.
Dilloway said: "We've made a brilliant start, better than I could have hoped for. From our opening 14 matches, we've won nine, drawn two and only lost three.
"We haven't hit a bad patch yet and hopefully we can keep it that way for as long as possible."
