On your marks! Teachers' fitness was put to the test - in front of 100 students.
Good sport - principal Caroline Haynes.
Twenty-five staff at Tendring Technology and Sixth Form College in Frinton, including the new principal Caroline Haynes, volunteered to take part in a bleep test challenge.
With the possibility of either impressing their pupils or humiliating themselves in front of them, the teachers tried to run as fast as they could, keeping up with a bleeper sound that gets gradually faster.
The test was put to them by the sixth form Young Enterprise team, made up of growing entrepreneurs with money-making schemes.
Each of the audience members each had to pay £1 to view the possible embarrassment of their teachers with some of the money going to charity.
