Forgotten man Paul Rutherford has seen his Braintree Town nightmare come to an end.

The former Tottenham Hotspur trainee has signed Ridgeons League forms with Wroxham.

Rutherford, 20, had been out in the cold since being dropped for new signing Danny Gay in August.

He had a brief loan spell at Boreham Wood in September, and played in the Iron's recent Essex Senior Cup clash with Clacton, but he had spent most of the last two months either on the bench or in the stands.

He had incurred the wrath of Borg, who said he had 'not done himself any favours with his attitude'.
