A VETERAN tank commander is appearing in a TV programme tonight Wednesday to talk about his battle experiences during the Second World War.
Dr Ken Tout OBE, from Church End Lane, Runwell Wickford, was 20 when he served in a Sherman tank in Normandy following D-Day to clear away enemy defences.
Tonight he can be heard talking about his experiences to presenter Al Murray in the programme The Road to Berlin on the Discovery Channel.
The programme will be repeated this Friday.
