A Clacton building society is celebrating a top place in a contest.
Cheltenham and Gloucester, which opened in the town more than 20 years ago, has won branch of the quarter - beating 42 others in the eastern region.
Manager Peter Brazewell said: "Competing against the region's other 42 branches is quite a challenge and makes being in number one position a real achievement."
