Sean Hillier made it four goals in five days as Clacton Town stormed back from behind to beat Stowmarket.

The Seasiders were losing twice but staged a dramatic revival, thanks to Hillier's two-goal salvo and another strike for Keith Hetherington. Both players had been on target with braces in Saturday's 4-2 success against Diss.

And jubilant Clacton manager Alan Dilloway - whose side stay fifth in the Ridgeons League premier division - told the Gazette: "Those goals will really help Sean. They'll be great for his confidence and I'm delighted for both him and Keith.

"Stowmarket is always a hard place to go to. It's a difficult pitch to play on and I don't think I've ever been involved in a good footballing match there. But it's all about adapting to the conditions and we showed great resolve."

Elsewhere, a tenth-minute Sean Caton goal was enough to give Steve Pitt's Wivenhoe Town a 1-0 Southern League division one east win at struggling Aveley.
