Tamsin Ashworth sparked a nationwide search after setting her heart on white peacock feathers for her big day.
Colchester florist Julie Francis scoured the country - and finally found some via email at Scone Palace, near Perth - the crowning place of Scottish kings.
Julie, who runs Arbora, Crouch Street, soon had palace staff hunting for the prized white tail feathers.
"They were fantastic," she said. "They collected about 100 and sent them down here - all covered in peacock poo! We had to wash and blow dry them but now they are sitting in the shop window."
The feathers will form part of the spectacular table decorations when Tamsin ties the knot with Simon Gould, in December.
