Ray Adams has joined BDO Stoy Hayward's Chelmsford office to help expand the firm's range of services to local companies.
Formerly a partner in BDO Stoy Hayward's Bromley business centre, his professional experience spans a wide range of plc and private company audits, across sectors such as retail, electronics, food and technology.
Ray qualified as a chartered accountant in 1983 and since becoming a partner in 1997, has also been responsible for the human resources and audit departments at BDO Stoy Hayward's Bromley business centre.
Ray has lived in the Chelmsford area for the past 16 years, having originally been from north Hertfordshire. In his spare time, Ray enjoys watching football and cricket and is a season ticket holder at Luton Town FC.
Ray said: "I'm delighted to be able to bring my in-depth advisory experience to businesses large and small across the region covered by our Chelmsford office and Hatfield business centre. Providing technically sound and commercially minded advice is based on addressing the key issues facing a client.
