A charity worker has proved she is all heart by handing back a £2,000 diamond ring she won in a raffle.
Angela Whitelock, of Wickham Bishops, recently attended the Helen Rollason Cancer Care Centre Appeal annual ball and was stunned when her name was pulled out of a raffle, scooping her a diamond ring.
But the mum-of-two, a part-time book-keeper for the appeal, donated it straight back to the charity.
The generous mum said she was horrified when her name was called out and was so shocked she sent her sister to collect it in front of 800 other guests at the London Hilton in Park Lane.
