Southend United midfielder Mark Bentley today admitted he was determined to rediscover his impressive early season form and reclaim a regular starting slot for the Shrimpers.
The energetic 26-year-old was recalled by boss Steve Tilson at Yeovil Town on Saturday after a prolonged spell on the sidelines and is now hoping to keep his place in the centre of the park.
"It was nice to be back in the team," said the former Dagenham and Redbridge battler.
"It had been frustrating being on the bench and hopefully now I can get back to playing the way I was at the start of the season."
