Benfleet's SEEVIC College enjoyed major success when competing in the Buzuka National Swimming Championships Southern regional final at Ipswich.
They competed against other colleges from the region for a place in the national finals early next year.
The team were inspired and supported by top former Commonwealth Games swimmer and former SEEVIC student, Nathalie Brown.
The male team consisted of four Essex County finalists and they did not disappoint, as they brought the gold home twice, both in the individual medley relay and the freestyle relay.
