Tommy Miller is desperate to be fit for Ipswich Town's clash at home to Brighton this weekend.
The Blues midfielder will discover tomorrow whether his elbow injury suffered in Town's 1-0 win against Leeds two weeks ago has cleared up enough to allow him to line-up at Portman Road for the Coca-Cola Championship fixture.
Miller, who missed Town's 2-0 defeat at Sunderland last Sunday, said: "The elbow is still sore.
"I can't wear a cast or anything because I need the mobility in my arm to get around the pitch and even if I could wear a cast there is obviously an issue of being a danger to other players on the pitch."
Meanwhile, Premiership outfit Birmingham have signed Njazi Kuqi brother of Town striker Shefki from FC Lahti.
Njazi has spent ten days on trial with the club and will become an official player at St Andrews when the transfer window opens in January
