Fundraisers have netted a staggering £25,000 from one event for St Helena Hospice.

The annual draw with a Skoda car as first prize is organised by the Clacton supporters group and tickets are sold throughout the summer.

It is their fourth annual autumn draw they have held and profits in the past three years have now topped the £100,000 mark.

The money will be used to help run both the hospice in Colchester and the day centre in Clacton.
