Schools could be pushed beyond their limits if a new housing estate is built in a village, it is claimed.

Concerns about primary school capacity are among a list of objections to 57 homes being built in Parkeston.

Other fears about developing the former brickfield in Una Road include road safety and subsidence.

Ramsey and Parkeston Parish Council is opposed to the plans and will voice its worries to the planning authority.

The parish council is objecting to the whole lot and has written to Tendring Council to try to get it stopped.
