Police are appealing for the public's help in tracing a gang of yobs who vandalised a village church.
The group of about six teenage girls and boys were seen hanging around the parish church in Panfield, near Braintree, just after 9pm on Wednesday.
A witness heard breaking glass and when he went to investigate, he found a framed prayer had been pulled off a pillar inside the church and broken.
