Top squash players from around Essex will be battling it out for county glory in Basildon this weekend.
The 2005 Essex County Closed Championships takes place at Club Kingswood, in Sparrows Herne, on Saturday and Sunday.
There will be no prize money this year as the organisers are donating the cash to the Asian tsunami appeal.
Championship action will see men and women players competing in various age groups through to veterans and vintage.
