Southend Sports Council honours its heroes tonight when they presentation of the annual sports awards are made.
The traditional junior, senior and coach/administrator of the year awards have been added to for 2005.
Awards for the team and sponsor of the year will be presented for the first time.
The ceremony will be held at the mayor's parlour in Porters, Southchurch Road, from 7.30pm with Southend mayor councillor Roger Weaver.
