THE lives of more than 40 cubs were put in danger after mindless teenage vandals set fire to a Billericay scout hut.
The incident, which took place at the 3rd Billericay Scout Hut, in Perry Street, forced the cubs to evacuate the hut while firefighters put out the blaze.
