Aspiring entrepreneurs can get a helping hand in getting their own businesses up and running for free.
The Business Awareness Event will tell residents of the Maldon district everything they need to know about starting a new company or expanding an existing one.
The session, on February 9 at The Swan Hotel, High Street, Maldon, is being organised by the Mid-Essex Enterprise Agency.
Visitors will have the chance to chat to professional advisors about anything from employing people and keeping accounts to increasing sales.
Anyone interested in picking up some free advice can call in between noon and 2pm.
