Another trucker landed himself in a "lorry bother" after trying to squeeze his HGV through the narrow streets of Colchester's medieval Dutch Quarter.
Julia Sealey was woken by the rumble of the Wilkinson's lorry just before 1am today.
"The ground was shaking and I thought 'That's another one'," she said. "It was enormous. He managed to turn around but not without hitting a bollard.
"Then he hit a lamppost in St Helen's Lane which managed to stay standing," she said.
"I heard him catch the bollard so I got dressed and went out. He wasn't a happy bunny by then!"
The trucker had failed to spot signs banning HGVs from the narrow streets.
