Hollywood actor Clive Owen has bought a house in the Harwich area.
The Oscar-nominated star moved into his substantial new home yesterday. Mr Owen, currently featuring in the award-winning film Closer, said he was happy to be moving into the area.
He said: "I have known the area for a long time. I'm just delighted to be here and I'm looking forward to moving in."
Mr Owen was spotted in the area around the new year and several whispers have spread about his move.
The rumours were confirmed yesterday as he brought in his belongings, helped by friend and fellow actor Gary Mavers, a star of the television series Peak Practice.
The home will be a permanent base for the 40-year-old, who is married to actress Sarah-Jane Fenton and has two daughters.
