Southend residents are being asked to give their views on a project to transform Southend Victoria railway station.
The project, SustAccess, will be funded by European money and aims to make places around the North Sea more accessible from the areas around them, and wants to boost sustainable transport like train travel as part of the process.
Project workers are now doing surveys to find out how people reach the station and the high street and how long their journeys take.
During Green Transport Week, which ended on Sunday, questionnaires were also given out to rail passengers to find out their views.
Murray Foster, Southend Council's executive councillor for development, said: "We would urge regular rail passengers to give their views on how best to connect the station to other forms of transport and to the High Street."
The questionnaire is also available online at www. southend.gov.uk.
