TV star Kerry Katona loves Southend - and is proving it by choosing the town above anywhere in the world.
When Channel 5 producers told her she could pick any place to present a programme from, she plumped for Southend.
"It's a great place," said the former Atomic Kitten singer.
"It's always a good day out. The people here are lovely."
She was shooting footage for an episode of 100 Greatest TV Moments at the refurbished Pier Hill. Kerry, who won I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! last year, said she loved traditional seaside resorts.
"They're always such good fun," she said.
Kerry will be presenting a show of wind-ups and pranks.
Producer Ruben Ray-Choudhuri said: "We asked Kerry to do the show and said she could do it from anywhere in the world. She decided to come here."
