A fresh dispersal order will come into force in St Anne's as part of an attempt to help police get to grips with its teenage anti-social behaviour problems.
This follows the success of a similar six-month order which has slashed criminal damage and acts of violence on the estate since December.
Northern community policing team Sgt Dean Chapple said that despite improvements, residents still feel intimidated by groups of trouble-making youths.
He said: "It's all about enhancing the quality of life on the estate. The summer holidays are coming up and all of the community is concerned some of the problems might increase. Hopefully, the dispersal order will be there to combat that.
