AN off duty police officer who saved a child during a trip to the zoo has been awarded a top life-saving honour.

Darren Warner, 33, from Wickford, is to receive a Royal Humane Society Certificate of Commendation for reviving a little boy in October last year by giving him the kiss-of-life.
