UNIVERSITY students who say they are sick and tired of continuous building work plan to cause “mass disruption” on campus in protest.
Hoards of students currently renting rooms at Essex University’s North Towers, in Wivenhoe Park, have organised a demonstration to voice their anger over noisy construction work on a five million pound project to convert an old underground boiler house into 20 new teaching rooms.
The ‘Make Some Noise To Stop The Noise’ protest could see hundreds of students cause chaos at the Wivenhoe Park campus from 1pm on Tuesday armed with pots, pans and whistles.
