FOUR Colchester families who agree to take up cycling are set to become stars of the silver screen.
The families will star in a cinema advert, due to be aired at the Colchester Odeon this summer to help promote cycling.
The Cycle Stars Project is being run by Cycle Colchester and aims to recruit families who don’t cycle but are keen to feel the benefits it can bring.
Over the course of six weeks, the families will be given training and support to help them to include cycling in their daily lives.
Their experience will be filmed along the way and will feature in the Odeon advert in the hope of inspiring others.
Ideally recruits will own their own bikes however arrangements can be made for those who don’t.
