ENGINEERING students from Colchester Institute were put through their paces by the Army.
A group of 70 students tried their hand at military tasks from building a bridge to navigation, and put their skills into practice by dismantling the engine of a quad bike.
Roni Holtermann, lecturer in automobile engineering, said: It's important to show the students all the options available to them once they gain their qualifications.''
The event was organised by 16 Bravo Technical Logistic Recruitment Team.
