THIS man is wanted by police in connection with four burglaries.
Myles Connor, 21, is being sought by Essex Police following a spate of incidents in Colchester and the surrounding area in October.
In all four instances, a bogus caller knocked on the door and pretended he had lost a ball in the resident’s back garden.
When the homeowner went to look for it, the man went into the house and stole money, purses and bank cards.
All of his victims were elderly.
The incidents happened in Old Heath Road, Colchester, Vine Road, Tiptree, Colchester Road, West Mersea, and Valentine Way, Silver End, between noon and 2.20pm on October 3.
Mr Connor is described as white, 5ft 1ins, with short black hair, stocky and spoke with an Irish accent. He also has a 1cm scar on his forehead.
He is believed to be living in the London area.
Police have appealed for anyone who knows where Mr Connor is to call detectives at Braintree or Colchester CID on 0300 3334444, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
