COLCHESTER’S crematorium and cemetery have been labelled amongst the best nationwide.
A survey of more than 100 organisations by the Institute of Cemetery and Crematorium Management ranked the Mersea Road crematorium and cemetery as the 13th best.
The survey, which reviews the service provided to mourners, funeral directors, clergy and funeral congregations, found Colchester was the third best in the south east.
