Bogus clothes collectors warning

BOGUS clothes collectors have been leafleting homes in Essex claiming to represent East Anglian Air Ambulance.

The Essex and Herts Air Ambulance Trust is warning residents in the area that while World UK Trading Ltd does collect recycled clothing on behalf of East Anglian Air Ambulance, the company is in no way connected with the Essex trust.

If you receive such a leaflet appearing to be from East Anglian Ambulance Trust you are urged to call the trust fundraising office on 0845 2417 690.

I work for the East Anglian Air Ambulance(EAAA). Can I please clarify your article. World UK Trading Ltd are a reputable company who collect for EAAA in Suffolk, Cambs, Beds and Norfolk. They do not collect in Essex but bogus collectors have copied their literature and are using it to pass themselves off as charity collectors. World UK TRading do not collect in Essex for EAAA or any other air ambulance.
