Joe Glenton -- demonstrated against war in Afghanistan
A SERVING soldier being held in Colchester’s military prison will find out on Wednesday if he has to remain in custody.
Lance Corporal Joe Glenton spoke out against the war in Afghanistan at a demonstration in London last month. He faces up to 10 years in jail if found guilty of disobeying lawful commands and standing orders. The 27-year-old has already been charged with desertion for refusing to return to Afghanistan 2007 after serving seven months there.
