PARTYING with movie star Lindsey Lohan is a small price to pay when success strikes.
For Colchester band the Amberblacks, a 12-gig tour of the east coast of America proved such a huge success, that even when the band interrupted a hip-hop night in Harlem, New York, the crowd cheered them on to play two encores.
Letting your hair down with the likes of Lohan and Naomi Campbell just comes with the job.
The tour, from which they recently returned, took in cities from Richmond, Virginia, and Philadelphia to Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Harlem, in New York. The foursome took part in a 70-minute live radio interview in Richmond where the DJ played four numbers from the band’s first album after which the boys played two tracks live, acoustically.
Fans can catch up with the tour on the band’s Facebook and MySpace websites, on which they have posted videos.
The band is already planning a combined tour of Japan and Australia in 2010.
