THE boyfriend of murdered call girl Anneli Alderton has been jailed for the latest in a string of offences.
Sammy Lee Jefford appeared before Colchester magistrates charged with verbal racially aggravated intentional harassment.
The 24-year-old was accused of threatening and abusing Christopher White, including racially insulting him, in Colchester, on July 30.
Jefford, formerly of Magnolia Drive, Greenstead, pleaded guilty to the charge and was jailed for two months, to run concurrently with the current sentence he was serving.
He was brought to court from Chelmsford Prison, where he is serving a custodial sentence for a separate offence.
Jefford hit national headlines in December 2006, when his girlfriend Anneli Alderton was murdered by the serial killer Steve Wright.
The pair had met at a drugs rehabilitation unit, in Colchester.
In 2007, the then 21-year-old admitted robbing a man in Eld Lane, Colchester, on December 2, the day before Anneli went missing. He asked for a second robbery to be taken into consideration.
He was jailed for three-and-a-half years.
