The building 15 Queen Street, Colchester, would make an excellent base for mobility scooters for the disabled bus travellers at the bus park.
Unfortunately, the artistic elite on Colchester Council want the unpopular Firstsite art group to be given it.
Negotiations to purchase the property for the benefit of Colcestrians have fallen at the first hurdle.
Apparently the senior estates officer is the only person who can discuss the property and he refuses to answer calls.
Complete refusal of any information and no access to survey the property.
At the moment, the mobility scooters are in remote St Mary’s car park, only accessible to council staff realise they are in post to benefit this town? Instead they put their own personal interests first.
