A MAN has been flown to hospital by air ambulance with serious head injuries after a road crash.
The patient has been taken to Romford’s Queen’s Hospital after the accident on The Street, Gosfield, yesterday afternoon.
A spokesman for the police force information room said the road was still closed at 5.40pm after the crash at about 4.30pm.
He said: "The road will be closed for at least another hour.
"One male has been conveyed to Queen’s Hospital, Romford, with serious head injury.
"He went by helicopter. A young child might have been injured as well."
A Vauxhall Astra was involved and possibly pedestrians, he added.
