A SCHOOLBOY was left with a fractured jaw after he was attacked by a group of up to six youths.
The 15-year-old was walking home from school at about 3.50pm on Monday when he was attacked in an alleyway between Gloucester Avenue and Boadicea Way, Colchester.
The victim was taken to Colchester hospital and then referred to a specialist facial injuries unit at Ipswich hospital.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time or witnessed the assault to contact them at Colchester CID on 0300 333 4444 or to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
