FORMER EastEnders actress Michelle Collins will be taking part in a Barnardo’s Big Toddle in Colchester.
She will join mums, dads and children aged under five for the fundraising event at Colchester Zoo on Friday.
Miss Collins, who is appearing at the Mercury Theatre in Deceptions until June 20, will take time out from rehearsals to take part in the event.
She said: “I went on my first Big Toddle for Barnardo’s with my daughter, Maia, 11 years ago.
“They are really fun events and a great way for children to learn about how they can help children less fortunate than themselves.”
Registration starts at 10am with the event kicking off at 10.45am.
Children under five registered to toddle can enter the zoo free of charge and up to two accompanying adults pay the discounted rate of £10 each. It is also possible to sign up to take part by visiting www.big toddle.co.uk or calling 0845 270 9900.
