SAVE Our Tower was the theme of a children’s art contest organised by Frinton Rotary Club.
The competition was organised as part of Rotary’s Midsummer Madness event, on Sunday, June 21, which will raise funds for the Crag Walk coast protection scheme. The scheme aims to stop Walton’s Naze Tower from the crumbling into the sea.
Competition judges were local artist Dawn Hall and Michelle Nye-Brown, curator of the Naze Tower Art Gallery.
The winning entries are on show at the Naze Tower, and prizes will be presented by Frinton and Walton mayor Robert Bucke at the tower on June 21.
Rotarian Michael Chaplin said: “It was difficult for the judges. The high standard of art was complemented by some highly original thoughts on saving the tower from the sea.”
