TENDRING community groups have been given grants totalling £96,000 by Tendring Council chairman Nick Turner.

Grants went to: the Essex Association of Boys’ Clubs, HEAL, the Centre for Rape and Abuse, Open Road Visions, the Ark Family Resource Centre, the Dumont Luncheon Club, Frinton Cricket Club, Walton and District Sea Cadets, Inclusion Ventures, the Salvation Army, Clacton and Tendring Shopmobility, the Volunteer Centre, the Alzheimer’s Society’s Tendring branch, Family Support Clacton, Tendring Community Transport, Tendring Access Group, Signpost (Colchester), Clacton Cricket Club, Tendring Mental Health Support, the Tendring Furniture Scheme, Clacton Lions, the Youth Theatre Supporters, the Two Js Short Mat Bowls Club, Clacton and District Stroke Association, Tendring District Talking Newspaper Association, Tendring Crossroads, Clacton United Football Club, Weeley Community Care, the Lynch Mob, Colchester and Tendring Community Trust, Tendring Cricket Club, Rural Community Council of Essex, 4 Youth, Family Support Brightlingsea, Brightlingsea Regent Football Club and Greenpath Ventures.
